World Food Prize Foundation: Borlaug Dialogue

The mission of the World Food Prize Foundation is to elevate innovations and inspire action to sustainably increase the quality, quantity and availability of food for all. The Foundation supports this mission through various programs including the International Borlaug Dialogue.

This year's Borlaug Dialogue (October 20-22), will be offered in a primarily virtual format. Each day, we will offer various sessions - panel discussions, roundtable sessions, workshops and side events designed for deeper exploration in the area of food security, nutrition and agricultural innovation. Participants will connect through a dynamic, virtual platform.

The main theme of this year's Borlaug Dialogue is "Gaining Momentum: Food System Transformation in the Decade of Action." We will spotlight several focal areas critical in food systems transformation, including Research and Innovation; Gender Equity and Equitable Livelihoods; Nutrition Sensitive Food Systems and International Cooperation.

Virtual registration is $195, and with this you will receive:

  • Access to the Borlaug Dialogue Virtual Event Hub with online content before and during the event

  • Ability to watch and interact with all Borlaug Dialogue virtual roundtables and workshops LIVE

  • Networking opportunities with fellow virtual attendees from around the world

  • Interactive networking sessions with World Food Prize Laureates

  • Over 30 virtual side events hosted by various organizations during the week

  • Access to Borlaug Dialogue recordings and virtual platform for 6 months following the event
